FELLIN. is a café and restaurant in the heart of Viljandi Old Town, which charms with cosy simplicity and finely wrought sophistication, and where families and couples, friends and relatives, gourmands and backpackers all feel right at home.
Our kitchen offers carefully crafted tastes which combine the best local produce with inspiration from world cuisines. Our drinks’ menu is characterised by selectively chosen wines, artisanal Estonian drinks and freshly roasted, organically grown Kokomo coffee. The Fellin family aims to make sure every visitor will feel at least a little happier when they step out of that blue door.
In its (so far) brief but successful existence, our café has won significant recognition, including being chosen as one of Estonia’s Top 50 Restaurants ever year from 2014 to 2017. Fellin was also chosen as a nominee for ‘Regional Company of the Year’ in 2013, and can be found on the on the list of Best Restaurants in the Baltics, chosen by The White Guide Nordic 2017.
The Fellin menu is one of the most interesting in Estonia. Whenever I leave, I find myself wishing I had tried another dish or two. And so Fellin is one of main reasons for coming to visit Viljandi again and again.
Aivar Hanson, Tastes of Estonia
Fellin is a delightful, intelligent and charming café, which adds something to Viljandi that would otherwise be lacking.
Viivi Luik and Jaak Jõerüüt, writers
Fellin offers the opportunity to use a private room for business lunches and dinners, important family occasions, seminars and other events. The private room fits up to 30, and can be booked here.
If arranged ahead, Fellin is happy to bring its culinary flavours to you outside of the restaurant. Alternatively, you are welcome to come and pick up your order. In addition to the full menu, you can also take away homemade bread, flavoured butter and rye crisps, as well as a selection of the best Estonian artisanal drinks and wines. If you have a celebration or an event coming up, and you’d like us to provide refreshments, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once a month on a Sunday, Fellin invites families and friends to join us at the breakfast table. In addition to delicious sandwiches, smoothies, juices, fresh salads and coffee.
